  1. Got a few under my belt now . Tried a few file handles for smaller files also.
  2. Thanks, Patrick!
  3. Arko, marvelous stuff.
Shave soap, works up an instant appearing lather. Great for travel, just as small as a roll of half dollars.
Gets you a clean fresh scent on your mug, sorta reminiscent of........ well, at least it's clean. Believe it or not, I sometimes long for the industrial bathroom cleaner smell. Besides, the smell is mostly covered later in the process, and very good performance is a quality hard to ignore.
And before my friends all disown me for calling a spade a spade (or a urinal puck a urinal puck).
If one can't stand the aroma, it makes great belt dressing if your fanbelt squeaks.
  4. Another fantastic (if somewhat controversial) shave and report, Neal! Beautiful set up. Be safe out their as you sling those meals :)

Why? Why do I suddenly want ribs so badly?
  5. Thank you, Patrick! :D
  6. thank you Patrick..
  7. Could be because the finest ribs in the land are found right here in the Lou! :eatdrink020::eatdrink023:
  8. when is this government gonna quit poking canada with a stick....sorry gents..
  9. Saturday shave: I decided to go with my Snail Forge razor fresh of the pasted strops. An über sharp edge but still über smooth. On the firs pass I could feel everything was on point, just focus and don't screw up I told myself..... Yup! finished with an epic shave.

  12. cool shave and pic Keith.have a great weekend..
  13. I've found McCann's good. They are my second choice if I can't find Bob's.

It could be me and/or my style but I find McCann's a wee bit more starchy/paste. I cook stove top to an 'al dente' level, then eat with milk and some fruit (fresh or dried).

In the days after I gave up smoking, I'd take some dry to keep my mouth occupied during an hour commute.

I've never done a double blind test so I couldn't be sure my opinion is without a bias.
  14. Double TGIF!

I own the 2011 and used to own the 2013. I agree the 2013 is not the most aggressive, I have a strong preference for the 2011 version and other aggressive razors.

Ouch! I hope it heals quick.

I usually bloom and I found the same thing, loaded it like it owes you money and is not answering your calls.
  15. Hmmm......
    :sport026:
Now I'm wondering if I should be wearing traditional or the newer synthetic versions.

I'm not sure the UK is as civilised as you believe!
  20. Gorgeous shave, Keith! It's beyond me how such a hefty razor can still look so elegant. Fir and leather seems like an awesome scent profile, too. :D
