  1. Those North of the 49th Parallel have no trouble making their own Q. There is plenty of hardwood fuel and wildlife to slow cook....... the ambient temps sometimes mean slower and more fuel.

I'll donate my share of pork rinds to those in need.
  2. Beautiful shave, Gary! Happy Anniversary to you and your Bride, my friend.
  3. thank you Charlie..we are enjoying our newly found time together:)
  4. I think the CF Limes is a very good product. The Lime scent is strong and excellent. The lather is a top notch, slick lather, especially for a vegan product. I do treat it like a soap, rather than a cream, fwiw. It is quite expensive here, but I suspect you’d be able to get it cheaper there as it is Scottish.
  5. i have the lavender one..quite nice..but pricey..
  6. It is stock in the UK at Connaughts as well.
  7. Beautiful photo and set up, and excellent shave and report, Jim. I say go for another CG shave regardless of what the mailbox brings you--you're so close to finding that perfect angle! :D

  8. Thank you, Jeff! I'm also feeling a bit shut in (though I do take the occasional walk with my 2 year old son).

I share a back yard fence with my parents and my sister and her family. Normally there is free traffic between the houses, but 2 of my kids are sick (most likely not COVID 19), and since both my mom and my sister are immune system compromised we aren't taking any chances. We're all getting a little edgy.

After two days, the sick ones are much better, so the self imposed separation may not be quite as long as we feared. :)
  9. It really depends on how many products @Primotenore decides to review. We always seem to get a lot of mileage out of those. I take 'em all with a few salt granules, but it's hard to let 'em slip by.
  10. Thanks, Tim!
The postal service seems to be running slow so a few more shaves with the CG are in order.
  11. Well said.

Re: Tom's Adjustable Razor, I'm not through all the tests yet. But while I went for a chosen cross section of gear, and never developed Deep RAD, the TAR could just be the DE RAD killer in my book. I'm incredibly grateful to have had the privilege of using them.
  12. Yup. Not many true specialty BBQ restaurants, at least not around these parts, but lots of backyard/smoker/BBQ competition kind of stuff.
You can get pork rinds, but I don’t think they are an overly popular snack here north of the 49th. At least not in BC.
  13.
  14. We were thinking........

    ........ White Stang
  15. We're not supposed to talk about slippery elm bark, Joe. :rolleyes005:
  16. Wow! That's pretty aggressive then?!

    Thank you, Jeff! :)

I've got some Voskhods on the way too!
  17. Fantastic shave and report, Jeff! I didn't realize you had to modify the blades in order to shave with the Gibbs. You and Terry are hardcore that way :D

That highly mentholated shave and splash sounds delightful!

  20. Like Italian Barber, Fendrihan is a Canadian site that has both Canadian (.ca) and US (.com) options.
