  1. Fantastic Red Tip shave, Joe! That SS/AS pair sounds wonderful. Just reading about it raises my spirits, sir :D

  11. Thanks for letting me know Myles. However, I can't imagine anything compares with NY Italian pizza parlors and restaurants. I am sure the Atlanta guy's place is nice, but his food won't compare with NY because of the differences in my region's water, vendors, etc. Case in point, any authentic NY bagel place in the south has to ship NY city water to get the texture and taste just right.

  15. Nice shaves Keith. I guess you are not a BoS fan because you want to use it up very quickly. I happen to like the scent, but use it sparingly.

  16. no doubt about it. the Italian side of my family as far as I know has no NY roots, all Chicago. Any food we make is Chicago style, even the Pastries from the bakery stores. this makes me want a cannoli now ;)

  17. Thanks Tim! I had mentioned it awhile back that Music City Suds no longer produces shave soaps, but continues to make bar soaps, hand soaps, etc. I bought 2 sets of this bundle for 16 dollars because it was their discontinuation sale. I wanted There Goes Your Mandarin soap, but they were sold out, so I bought the bundles of lavender instead. I took a chance because I never tried lavender. At first, I was disappointed, but then it grew on me.

  20. Cannolis would be the death of me. Hope one day when you're older that you would visit NYC proper (Manhatten) and go to Little Italy to experience the food. There's a place called Ferrara's Bakery and it is fantastic. It is expensive, but it is worth it.
