  4. Good morning all!
This morning I got out a Ming Shi adjustable razor, loaded a new Feather blade.
I had some bad feelings towad this razor, but being a Chinese knockoff of a Chinese knockoff, it was cheap.
Can't remember when I last used it.
But being cheap, it was just that, cheap.
Now it's put together fine, the handle is light making it hard to ballance.
I did the entire head shave grasping onto the adjustment knob.
The face shave was wanting, I thought maybe I had it on 9, ok try 1.
At 1 it didn't shave at all, not sure the blade even touched the skin.
Back to 9 and on with it.

Quite possibly the worst razor I own.
If you ride the cap, it doesn't shave.
You have to set the razor at an angle so the blade touches the skin.
I think that angle is at about 90 degrees, scraping the hair off rather than cutting.
Not very close, although I did many passes on a few areas to no avail.
No issues today, not much of a shave either.
This may be the only razor I've considered tossing in the trash.
The saving grace is everything else worked as expected.
I did do a whole shave, but it won't be long before I look like I skipped shaving today.

    All
    Stay safe
    ENJOY!

  7. Good job getting through this shave, Terry. While I have never trashed a razor, this seems like a candidate.

  12. Thank you, Tim! It is definitely a popular scent in my household. Anytime I get unsolicited "You smell good," that is a good thing.

  13. Great shave, Jim! How are you liking the scent of St. Barts? I was thinking of picking it up to compare to my tub of Island Man.

Happy Monday. Everything played well together but I was not on top of my game. My mind was on work and such. Three passes and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. My lower right neck proved to be my nemesis once again. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
  19. It is a well done scent; I am surprised they had discontinued it. I am glad it is back.
