Thank you, Blair! That brush sold out quickly; by the time I got the notice, it was gone. Probably a good thing.
April 9 Good evening guys! 1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable (9) Rockwell Blade Rockwell Synthetic Brush Razorock XX SS Clubman Lilac Vegetal Nivea ASB Altbough I only have a 25 hr stubble, I shaved this afternoon. My Rocky synthetic brush never disappoints me when face lathering. I rarely use the Razorock XX because it really doesn't have any scent. Hey, I shouldn't complain because it only set me back 4 dollars. However, it does lather very easily and gives a nice cushion. 2 passes with very little touchup gave me an IBSS + without any errors. The blade has run its course so I binned it and placed a new blade for tge next time. Slashed on the Veg and I have to say that it gets better every time I use it. Topped off the shave with Nivea aftershave balm for a really nice comfortable shave. Tomorrow will be my no shave day, so I will have a Special Saturday shave with one of my straights. No, I will not be using my Dovo Special. Probably one of my 5/6 round points to get back in the saddle. I do not want to cut myself the first time I use a straight since my accident, so a roundpoint will lower the risk. Yes, I realize that I have the soap and balm bottle upside down. I just took the picture without realizing it and then I downlowded it and saw the poor photo technique. Lol! Have a nice evening guys!
Stay safe, Jeff. Staying in a lower risk area, if you can, is a good idea. Adjusted for population, Kentucky has one of the lowest infection rates. Even so, I shop outside the metro area in the county where we used to live because it has relatively few known infections. (Same distance to the store...just turn the other way going out of the driveway.) It just makes sense to be intentional in order to reduce risk.
