Hope you all had a good Thursday. Mine wasn't bad at all. And, at the end of the day, I get to shave so there's that. One more round with the Super Adjustable and Sharp Star. Arko, of course, and the JR54 for a no-brainer excellent lather. Fine three pass shave that brought the baby and put it to bed. Alum was quiet. All's well that ends well, so I'd have to say this was a good Thursday. Now, let's go get started on pulling that weekend here! Have a great one!!

  16. Thanks Charlie. I am truly mentally exhausted tonight. Enjoying a little Angels Envy before bed.
  17. Tim, you're wise to video your shave so that you could step back and examine your technique. It reminds me of yesterday's "Minute with Maxwell" where he teaches that “experience gives you the test first and then the lessons afterwards.”

Experience is only the best teacher when you take time to reflect on it afterwards. Good job doing this, my friend! :)

I'm sorry to hear about the shaving peccadilloes. Tell you what I'd do...I'd spread some slippery elm bark all over the shave den floor. Maybe that will repel them. If it ain't your kids, it's them peccadilloes. It ain't fair when a man can't get a quiet shave.

    Congrats on #37!
  18. thank you Jeff..these are fine shavers Jeff.unfortunately they are rare today and pricey..i am most careful with them..they also have the rep of being independent shavers, meaning they all shave a little differently due to age and wear..thankfully these ones are in top form function wise with little to no plating issues.but they cost me a little..;)
  19. thank you Clint..
