    I agree..although I have modern razors I find to be excellent shavers..they don't seem to give me that special satisfaction I feel when using a vintage or antique razor from a bygone era..a strange connection to a different time which is hard to describe. When I use these simple tools of metal, wood, and bakelite..they in a sense become like time machines transporting my thoughts & imagination to space in history in which they were created. In comparison..my modern razors sadly feel a bit cold & lifeless..
