  3. It's certainly not true for a lot of people but we're spending a lot less on gas, lunch at the office, movies and kids entertainment. My work supports online marketing which is a booming business... I figure I can buy a $25 razor.

As for browsing ebay goes, I gave up looking unless I have something specific I am looking for... until you brought it up just now....

  4. Thanks, Patrick! I wouldn't even dream of an ATG pass until I got at least one WTG pass in (sometimes 2).

I agree that knowing the growth pattern is crucial if you want to shave comfortably--my beard is all over the place :happy102:

  12. Yea, there is much disinformation, that makes it hard to decide what to do and what to use.
I didn't use it because it burned like fire, after got my shaving fixed, I'm OK with it now.
I only know that some alcohols aren't good to put on the skin, say some denatured alcohols.
I would only use the type of spirits that you can drink without going blind or dying in my AS.
I know that the companies use denatured stuff, but they use different chemicals to denature it.
I haven't found out what they use for that in their product, but I would just use plain old grain alcohol.
I don't see any reason to denature it other than you have to have a liquor license to sell it if you can drink it.
I'll probably go down the road of home made AS, but for now its just a curiosity.

I like the little brush hog, it does a great job.
I forgot to remove the spline this morning.
Seems to me it does a little better job with the spline removed.
Got a blade ready for the Saturday shave.
