good morning gents ,started the tech focus with the basic brit made until 1949,when after that they adopted the standard u.s post war tech design.these flat bottom techs came from the flat bottom new,or 7 oclock design originally.
the pure cream lathered up fantastically with the synth eveready,and the tech /platinum combo delivered a fine near bbs in 2+ passes.always a treat to use these gems,though i prefer to use my solid fluted handle with them.the head heaviness naturally draws the razor to its prefered angle.smooth shave..love them on the south to north pass especially on the neck.simplicity itself.gillette cool wave aftershave to finish..awesome.this just came available locally recently .now just to get a gillette brush,(not the vinyl knot one) but they are rare and pricey..have a fine day everyone..

Well, thanks for the warning Jeff! However, being out of work due to this pandemic has hurt my wallet so if I do go, then it most likely would be sometime in the fall.

First....Thank You all for the comments on yesterday's post! Second...reading along, time constrained a bit. Tons of great images (wow, the game has been stepped up another notch), and as always, lots of great shaving hardware and software.

A&E's Vanille de Tabac....nice tobacco vanilla w/tonka bean, along with a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon (as called 'sweet wood sap' on the A&E website). Wifey approved. Ariana & Evans Aftershave Splash & Skin Food.....this blend must be shaken prior to application, as it separates into a milky layer on the top 25% of the container.

WWB w/Zenith Boar knot....great fragrant lather, full bodied and slickery. 2 smooth passes with the Friodur, some neck buffing, just missed BBS due to a rough patch on the right/chin jawline. Arr... Great shave otherwise, and finished with a wonderful aroma that lasts and lasts. One note though...I get a faint skin reaction to the cinnamon oil on my cheeks, so my application is only on the neck.

Very nice shave earlier this morning. I pulled out the 'backup' tub of this excellent soap. I've carved about 2 oz worth of samples for 30DCers out of it over the past few years, but there are still a few ozs of soap left. I had quite a run with it trying to finish off the last tub, but that ended a few months ago, and it was time to get back to Tobacco Tuesday.
Grabbed the prewar Tech in honour of @brit's and @jtface 's focus and @Primotenore 's purchase. Great lather, great scent, easy 3 pass shave. Not perfect, but more than acceptable. Realized I didn't even look to see what blade was in.
Finished with the excellent Jeeves splash. All is good.

Excellent shave, pic and lineup Blair! It isn't unusual for some people to develop a skin allergy to cinnamon. If I was you, then I wouldn't purchase Stirling Apple Spice or Pumpkin Spice.
