very cool.i've always been a music nut.from classical to daltry..mom saw the stones in london in the late 60s .dad was a buddy holly fan and everything in between.i wanted to dj since a teenager but cars ,girls and beer took the stage, music just made it all better.up until the last 10 years or so i was into hifi and had really cool, loud, high end hifi audio systems..the neighbors and wife slowed that down, when my last amp died i gave it up.now it's just me and my bose headphones....have a great evening..
Yessir, they are. To my knowledge they have not produced for the public for many years. They use hair shaper blades and they are my favorite shavettes. I absolutely love them. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Looks like one unfortunate mishap there. Glad it is healing up well. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
I am a big fan of the performance. The scent is on the medicinal side, but I like that as well. I would definitely purchase again. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Thanks Jim!! 2 more of my favorites. I'm down to some nice JVC headphones these days too. Thanks Gary!!
Tech Focus - Shave #3 Razor - English Flat Bottom Tech Blade - Feather (1) Brush - Yaqi Tuxedo Soap - TOBS Peppermint After Shave - Proraso Green Balm Shave #3 in the books. I was tired of the amount of stubble being left behind after the first two passes with the Astra SP blade. I don't remember having this much trouble with them the first time around (this tuck was PIF'd to me by someone else who didn't like them... Maybe dud?). So... In went the Feather. I have been inspired by Joseph's (@Primotenore ) lathers on his brush, so I made a conscious effort to make my lather as slick and shiny and thick as his. I stretched my skin and was, for the most part, diligent with the angle and pressure. I was rewarded with a near BBS that does require a little more touch up around the chin and neck, but I'm not going there... I'm trying to dial in my technique and shave every day, not get loads of irritation! I did, however, manage to shave ATG on my neck because of the comfort of the shave! Best smoothness I've had on my neck in recent memory! I think that the combination of sharper blade and slick, shiny lather made all the difference today. Despite shaving far more regularly than usual, my skin feels good and my irritation is minimal. Stay safe and enjoy your shaves gentlemen!
Aisle 7 is the farthest I ever made it wearing Tabac. Once while wearing Clubman I made it to the mythical isle 12. Now the that is piece of steel!
Avon April shave 17 Brush: Heritage Collection Shaving replica Klenzo with 26mm tuxedo knot Razor: 1946-47 Gillette Super Speed Blade: Elios Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Lime Aftershave: Avon Blue Blazer This was my first shave with the C&E West Indian Lime soap and I am very pleased with this soap. It's very easy to build a nice, dense, creamy lather with this soap. This soap is also very slick; I felt no drag from my razor on my face. It just glided along for all 3 passes. The scent is great as well; a very nice lime scent that's not too overbearing. All in all it was a grand shave. Good shave good day everyone.
Congrats on the progress, James! Great shave! That does sound like a grand shave, Angelo! Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Good Friday morning! Got to chill out again, got a new razor in the mail. A GOLF single edge that uses full size double edge razor blades. That's right, you don't snap them in half for this one. Loaded a new Feather blade and went to work. Also it is a great shaver, keeping up with the best of the efficient razors. I have very little information on this razor, other than it works great. 2 passes head and face, no issues. For the maiden voyage it handles well. The head is large, but because of the design it works well around ears and the chin area. This is in the rotaion, I like it even though I haven't seen anything about it. Be safe ENJOY! tp
The things I like about B&M and Mike's. Not too heavy on the cloves, yet the essence is there; never a burn; no 'artificial' scent; and, of course, terrific soap base.
