Rainy & gloomy but, no excuse for giving oneself a fine shave. Though we’re in spring, still a bit on the cooler side around the 50’s today, nothing better than a classic Woods, Booze and Leather type scents to get one started on a good note.

Between bar soap and alum witch hazel, face feels very dry and tight. This calls for Lucky Tiger tonic and Roman Brio before I head to the post office.

PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm

The Barbearia Ribeira do Porto Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #397 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the H. Böker 5/8 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Oneblade Core Version #2> Mfg 2018> excellent daily driver IMO.
Blade: Gem SS PTFE modified (4) good match with this razor.
Soap: Razorock Irish Country side.
Brush: Yaqi rainbow brown whiskers 26mm- great brush!
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep : cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Pinaud clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea Men balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= great shave this morning.

A shave with a close cousin of my previous shave with the Fritz Bracht Dovo. Not as noisy but a closer shave and the first time shaving the back of my neck (no haircut for some time)
