My Bride is frugal too. She accompanied me on a business trip to Houston. One evening we were in the Galleria, and we stopped to look at watches. She actually tried one on for herself and liked it immediately. I surprised her with one the following Christmas. I got her on the bandwagon early.

It's not a great photo, but it's an Omega Constellation. It has been her everyday watch for the past 24 years. I've offered to get her another watch, but she's satisfied with this one.

This is a better photo (not mine) - same model, but this one has the Mother of Pearl dial. Hers is diamond cut.

Tried to honour the thread foci of Adjustables and Shave Sticks. Nice afternoon shave after a day of chores. 2 passes with @MrEE ’s craftsmanship (handle), changed opinion (blade) and ambivalence (soap) . An easy 2 passes on setting Neal and all is good. I used to be kind of meh on this Fine dupe, but seem to be enjoying it more lately.

A decent but not great shave tonight. It has been a long time since I used the Barbasol and my angles were no where near correct to start. Other than the angles and closeness, it was a nice enjoyable irritation free shave. Enjoy your night.

fine shave and pic Jason.i will say though.the absolute closest shaves, well balanced gillette razor is the rocket hd series of razors..weight,balance,will mow anything down smooth..and not an adjustable on 9 for bragging rights....

Years ago, my Bride was pulled over for making a rolling stop in a small Indiana town. The officer tried to give her a ticket, but she wouldn't accept it. She handed it back to him, and he took it. Girls. Sheesh. If I had tried something like that, I'd still be in the county jail.
