  2. Hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday, in the mood for some U2.. good band, just haven't listened to them in a while. Found out a few years ago Bono and I have the same birthday, thought that was pretty cool.

  3. It's a Jerome lemars Seurat. I signed up for a Watch Gang membership as an experiment and I have been pleasantly surprised. They're obviously not high end watches but nicer than I expected actually. Anyway this is what came this month. However I'm starting to realize you don't need a membership. Plenty of people just dump them on ebay right after they get them.
  4. Arko Adjustable April

It's starting to look and feel like Spring around here but we're still holding our breath. No reason to think STL is totally done with winter yet. Even if we had a tornado whip through that wouldn't guarantee anything. We'll get there.

Stayed with the Ideal razor and Voskhod tonight. Switched the brush to the Canuck. Great handle with the SynBad flat head knot. This thing makes lather like a machine. Arko is so easy anyway, and this brush just makes it child's play. Three passes and I got the angle down tonight to smooth things out. It's a bit tricky with this razor but it can be done. BBS is on board and the alum was a lot quieter tonight. We'll give it another go tomorrow to make sure it's tamed.

Hope you had a good Saturday. Here's to a Super Sunday!

  5. Almost a cliche and not as funny with current world events but I have to leave this right here...

  6. Wish I had read this before the 3 Amigos Clip. Like most of us I have a number of loved ones at very high risk. I pray for them all but you and Kathy are on that list too. I do have hope. I read a lot about SARS-1 drugs which were so close and hopes are high they will work for SARS-2. I'm hoping that a combination of seasonal relief and discoverying a reliable antiviral treatment will get us through.

God will show His merciful hand soon. Stay strong my friend. You and Kathy have work yet to do.
  7. You drive a hard bargain Sir!

  8. Very nice Jason! I like the shave tube also. Mine smells like Palmolive now also.

Next time you'll knock a perfect one out Dale!!

  9. Thank you, Evan. We sincerely appreciate the kind words and especially the prayers. We are giving this situation over to the Lord, and we are completely at peace with it. The docs yesterday spoke of several new clinical trials being done as a result of the pandemic. They're using this time as an opportunity to learn, and we found that to be very encouraging. We also received a lot of good news and helpful information.

Likewise, I pray for your and your loved ones. Stay safe, my friend.

My favorite leather company is run by a Christian man that I find quite interesting. This is his tag line.

Congrats on the progress with your daily shaves! I wish I had been as diligent as you regarding shaving and skin care when I was getting started.

Keep us posted on your job situation!

  14. Wow, Jim! You have been parading some beautiful razors in front of the crew lately, but I'm getting tired of wearing a welder's helmet to protect my eyes. :)

I've also used a difficult to lather soap as a shave stick with great success. This is my story using MWF.

Hope all is well, my friend!

  15. Thanks, Charlie. The Meehans is stronger and lasts longer, but they both have that iconic West Indies Bay Scent. Sadly, the Dominica is not currently available. :(
