Congrats on the watch Jason. I have several Citizen Eco Drive watches that have worked very well for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you get the CNC machine, you're just another step closer to fabricating our 30 DC LE mechanical watches. You already have the plating equipment for the movement parts. Start video at 3:40.
Great shave, Jim. You're proving that average equipment (the razor and brush, certainly not that beautiful bowl) can deliver excellent shaves in the hands of a master. The Omega '98 is an awesome brush, BTW. Sorry about the work situation. That has to be incredibly frustrating. Hang in there and stay healthy, my friend.
Thank you, Charlie. Like I told Patrick, I shouldn't be complaining. I'm not a big complainer. I normally take things for what they are and try to make the best of the situation. Basically, I'm trying to follow your lead.
What a great way to start the week, Keith! The thing I like the most about the Astron is the way the dial markers contrast the light and shadows. That's a hallmark of the luxury Seikos. It's a beautiful watch. IMO, Seiko is the world's most innovative watch manufacturer, and they have the entire market covered with affordable to high-end models. Mask up and carry on!
Thanks for the kind words, Jim. Knowing you, I can't imagine you ever complaining. It's OK to vent, especially here among friends. This is certainly a difficult time. But if you really want to follow my lead, let's get the Chevelle flamed, paying no attention to @Edison Carter. Then we'll go watch shopping, come home and drop some steaks on the Big Green Egg, go out afterward for ice cream, and then have @NCoxSTL deliver some BBQ ribs for a late evening snack while we do some on-line razor and brush shopping... Be safe and take care, Jim.
April 20, 2020 Wolfman WR1-OC Ti (.74mm) with Triad Aristocrat Ti Feather Brad Sears Disco Asylum Colonia Shave Soap & Aftershave Monday again entirely too soon. Everything just worked well together to deliver a wonderful 3 pass BBS shave. A splash of Colonia AS and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
I had a really great DFS shave today. I decided to try something different out and that was to shave with NO PREP! No shower beforehand just rubbed some lukewarm water on my face and went to build a lather. I'm not exactly sure the reason, but, I had an extremely comfortable DFS. My skin felt a bit tougher during the shave and not at all irritated. I'm thinking that when I take a shower my skin becomes a bit softer and more sensitive, maybe puffy? I don't know. Anyways, I'm very happy. Stay safe fellas!
