    Yeesh...get well soon, Patrick.
No doubt! Such simple, classic styling on all the Jazz Masters. Well, on all the American Classics too... not that some of the field watches aren't stunners as well...:)
A true menthol Monday, Jim, and the usual fantastic pic. You really showed off that beautiful bowl today.
Sorry to hear about the lack of leadership at work. Very important in these trying times.
If you have a direct line to Kris Kringle, you may want to remind him that the black dialed Omega Speedmaster Chrono gets free shipping to the North Pole...
Have you checked out the Grand Seikos, Charlie?
Sounds like a great start to the week, Clint. The blooms look very nice as well, and are needed here now.
Didn't Randy have one of those Sears Disco brushes as well?
Very interesting, Dan. I've found that I get much better prep shaving right after a shower. That being said, I don't really use any preshave products, either.
Very nice Menthol Monday, Joseph. Agree on the Proraso green, and one added benefit is that it is one of the few decent products available in one of my town's drug stores.
Very nice, Angelo. Love that turned handle on the razor. Are you a turner?
Good morning, sir. Another very informative write up, Gary. Your Tech knowledge is fantastic.
Love that brush as always, Joe, and a great match with your razor.
Love everything about that combo, Blair. Fougere week is a super idea, and the spine on that razor is so unique.
Nice shave, Evan. I do like how that bowl turned out.

Awesome shave Blair! My 2 Ralf Austs are wonderful shavers and I agree that the blade is pretty stiff for a hollow ground. I haven't used them in awhile, but will do so next month.

Hey everyone so I predicted what I'm about to tell you/ask you from the very first vintage Gillette I bought. It seems I've gone a little spend crazy buying razors, brushes etc. Does anyone know where I could buy a stand or rack type storage system for all my items? Or perhaps know someone who builds custome ones? I want to store and display 8 brushes and 10-15 DE razors....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated by me! Thank you all in advance.

Had a great shave with my Karve fitted with the new wide body cap. It’s definitely going back into the regular modern rotation. I decided since I always get a great shave from the Karve, that I would break out the new RazoRock SS Hawk V3 fitted with a Feather Super blade. I used to own five AC razors, and now am down to three keepers. The two I sold are the ATT SE1 and Classic Shaving’s Oren. My problem with the SE1 was its weight and handling. It just never felt balanced and was lighter than all of my three remaining SEs. The Oren was just too bulky and unwieldy. I sold both! The three remaining all fit my weight and balance criterion. The Blackland Vector and Colonial General V2 are both a joy to shave with. They both possess the desired weight and heft and work beautifully with a Feather Super, my AC blade of choice.

The New SS Hawk V3 has a slimmer head than the version 2. It feels great in hand and delivers every bit as good a shave as my two other AC razors. It certainly delivered the goods this morning. The Proraso Cooling Cream whipped up beautifully into the thick, protective lather I like thanks to my Viking Silvertip Badger brush. As expected, that first WTG pass eliminated all stubble right down to the skin line. The second ATG pass smoothed away my remaining rough areas on face and noggin, and left me with a lovely, bloodless BBS. A quick cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH, Aqua Velva AS Splash and Lisa’s Naturals Tobacco and Bay Balm left me clean, smooth, cool and refreshed.

RAZOR: RazoRock 316L SS Hawk V3
    BLADE: Feather Super AC
    PREP: Cold water rinse
    BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
    CREAM: Proraso Green
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and Aqua Velva (Spanish Version). Finished with Lisa’s Naturals Tobacco and Bay Balm
