wednesday tech focus #8 1944 ish canadian war tech-steel plate/cap ,bake lite brit handle. derby premium 1950'scanadian rubberset boar-original knot erasmic soap in 50's stag bakelite container clubman special reserve in 50's white glass bottle,bakelite cap good morning gents,up today is the canadian war/service tech.quite rare and this one has seen little to no use.it has a steel cap and baseplate(magnetic) due to brass shortages and the brit plastic/bakelite handle.a story i read somewhere-made for the brit/french market but never made it there.sold in canada late wartime and shortly after.a magazine /newspaper add shows them for sale in canada shortly after the war was over.could be errors but more research needed. loaded the war horse with the derby premium.loving these blades presently,loaded the canadian rubberset with erasmic soap from the 40's bakelite stag container.the containers were from rexall drugs- (more research needed).fantastic near bbs in 2+ passes.clubman special reserve decanted into a 40s/50s bottle of unknown origin. awesome.i am getting closer to having a 40s/50s shave set.if anyone knows any info on these containers please let me know.have a fabulous day everyone..

Thank you, Clint! I like them a lot. The scent off the puck smells of coconut and bay rum with very little lime. The lime takes center stage in the aftershave though, with the coconut and bay rum supporting in the background. Lovely spring and summer scent.
