Thank you, Clint! The shaving angle with the Hawk V3 just wasn't intuitive for me. I kept drifting into too steep an angle. I feel good about it now.
April 29, 2020 OneBlade Genesis Feather FHS 30DC LE with Zenith Boar A&E Bad Habits Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Wednesday. I went back to the 30DC LE handle for the next couple of days. I am trying to break in the Zenith boar knot. A&E Bad Habits shave soap just flat works. It has all the excellent performance one expects from A&E with a scent to die for. The scent is inspired by Guerlian Habit Rouge. It opens with leather and citrus notes with a touch of powder over a woody base. The scent is complex and dare I say sophisticated. Three passes and touch ups ended in another automatic drama free BBS shave. A splash of the matching aftershave followed by a spritz of Habit Rouge and I am ready for the day. Thank you Jim. The girls had given me Habit Rouge as a gift. I was concerned the soap might have too much powder but it really doesn't to my nose. Bad Habits and Dirty Ginger have been my two favorite A&E scents thus far.

April 29 Parker SRX Feather (1) 30 DC LE Brush Eufros Tierra Humeda (Wet Earth) soap Alum, Thayers WH, Stirling USB/Almond Oil, Floid Vigoroso, & Aramis EdT 2020 Shavette Focus Shave # 31 This morning, I had a super nice two-passer with no touch ups or irritation. Because it had been less than a day since my last shave, I performed both passes ATG on my neck. I can't get away with that every day, but I will occasionally sneak it in. I had one small weeper on my chin that disappeared during my post-shave routine. The normal trouble spots are pretty clean; however, these areas remain rich for opportunity. wednesday tech focus # 13 1938 canadian prewar tech/rare canadian early handle platinum ds cosmetics tuxedo tallow and steel boreal good morning gents.canadian prewar tech/platinum combo,rare handle..this one made it to england as that's where i scored it from.not sure of its original path though,canadian soldier stationed at a brit air force base?.or enthusiastic collector 60 years later..anyhoo,ds cosmetics tuxedo built a lovely first time tallow and steel boreal lather,fine 2+ pass near bbs,this razor always delivers..slight more blade gap/feel that the u.s one i hear.did i feel it,not sure,riding the cap levels them out a little.fabulous shave..boreal aftershave to cap it off.awesome..did i say 13 day tech focus..we will see.Mayhem just round the corner.really ,these techs are awesome,but they have their place..itching for some oc's again..have a fine day gents..
