I'm sorry to hear this news, Jeff. My prayers go out to Sam and the family. May the Lord provide him with a speedy recovery and peace for your family.
I received my Razorock Baby Smooth in the post yesterday so took her out for her maiden voyage today. Razorock Baby Smooth Personna Platinum Arko soap Il Famoso Pennello Omega Trumper Sandalwood skin food For a first shave this is the easiest razor I've ever used! I was done in 10min! The angle is easy to find and after 3 passes near BBS and no irritation. I was well surprised! Definitely a daily driver and especially good if you're in a hurry. It is light weight being Aluminium, but that posed no problems for me. All told a really good buy!
April 30th Razor: RR Hawk V3 OC Blade: Feather Professional (4) Brush: Jayaruh 285 Pre-shave: PAA The Cube Soap: PAA Grove PAA Galactic witch hazel PAA unscented Star Jelly AS: PAA Grove Good morning! Wonderful shave to start the day and end the month! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum. I did Anything Goes April and by golly I stuck to it! Received some wonderful new toys and had the opportunity to hone my technique on one that proved troublesome to start. I have no idea what I'll be doing for May. I'm hoping to be inspired by one or more of my 30DC buddies. Have a great day!
April 30, 2020 OneBlade Genesis Feather FHS 30DC LE with Zenith Boar B&M Bay Rum Dominica Grand Bay Rum Aftershave Not much to say about today's shave. The boar knot is beginning to break in nicely. Another automatic three pass BBS shave. A splash of Dominica Grand Bay Rum aftershave and I am off to a client site for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday. April 2020 Recap April was a pretty interesting month. I got dial in my new Brassbird, and antiqued my Brass General. I tried to finish off some soaps or creams but just didn't quite make it. I was able to make a serious dent in a couple. As usual the best part of the month was participating in the thread. It is always a pleasure to follow along as we go through the month. I look forward to participating next month as well.
We will keep your son in our prayers as well. When you get to speak with him again, please relay our gratitude for his service, both at home and overseas.

Sam sounds like a tough man, thank him for all his service. I hope he makes a quick recovery. I keep a bottle of Fine Snake Bite in the fridge. I put up high where my woman can’t see it to avoid her smart Alec comments. Not just a custom razor, it’s one made with your own hands. It doesn’t cooler than that.
The small brush week continues with my favorite travel brush, Everset R1. It is the first day of a six day holiday so I blinged it up with my Ed Brice 6/8 with 'rubies' set in the spine and The Druken Goat soap. I usually can get three passes out of this brush and that is what I got today, loaded it up and did the 4th pass on my neck. I wonderful shave to kick off the holiday.
