    SOTD, Thur April 30th 2020

    Razor : Gillette Slim H1 - Mfg 1962 3rd qtr, great razor on 7 today, smooth and efficient shave!
    Blade : Gillette Silver blue (2) great combination with the slim IMO.
    Soap: Tabac- the soap never lets me down it seems.
    Brush: Yaqi Timberwolf whiskers 24mm- no problem with Tabac hard soap.
    Pre-shave : Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Prep : cold water rinse after of each pass of 2.
    Post shave : Razorock XXX with witch Hazel + a dollop of Nivea men balm (Sensitive)
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [​IMG] excellent shave to day with my Slim.

    thank you Mike.i would say quite similar to the fat handle in feel,a little more head heavy as the base the end of the handle is quite light and thin walled.

    Very cool Gary..I was eyeing one of those set recently. I really like the Bakelite stand too. Does it have a way to remove the discarded blades on the bottom of the stand?

    yes ,the bottom slides out should you want to use it.though i don't put used blades in mine.it just stores the razor..
