When I was a kid and delivering newspapers after school, I would pass a green corvette convertible with a 427 that looked just like the one below. All I could do is dream back then, and I’m still dreaming!
awesome car.when i was in my 20s i scored a 65 hardtop.was missing it's tri power set up and some minor parts.been sitting for years.unfortunately no papers were available so we ended up parting it out.sold every last bolt.last guy to come around bought the frame and bare body..not many get parted around here..a real shame to be honest, but some have to go to save others..
that is a lovely way to wake up in the morning....love the coupe..those wheels are a favorite,on any mid 60s v-8 falcon or fairlane as well.
absolutely awesome 70 torino gt.there is a grabber blue one around here.we see it from timi to time..
Now that’s a dream car! With a stock 427 cubic inch engine: 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds 0-100 in 10.3 seconds That was a real screamer back in the 1960s and is still quite fast by today’s standards. I want one!
Continuing on the wagon theme, Paul Newman dropped a supercharged 5 litre V8 in a Volvo wagon. https://petrolicious.com/articles/paul-newman-was-the-king-of-sleeper-cars
