  3. May 1st shave: This is the last of my small brush focus, Semogue boar that despite it's size delivered enough lather for 4 passes. It is getting close to broken so I think I should use more and finish the process. It worked great with the hard SMN soap, I added a little bit of liquid lanolin for the post shave feel. The Koraat was just a little sub par last time so I took it to my Dovo pasted strops and once again just8/ short of where I want it to be, so, back to the stones. It was sharp enough to shave with but I could not get aggressive with the angle. In the end the results were acceptable with no irritation.

May 2 shave. This huge grinning Mike Martinez is handful at 9/8 and half hollow. She usually has a wicked sharp edge but today she just very sharp, I think I will take her back to the stones and restore the scary sharp edge. A nice shave and I am off to the gym.

  11. Good shave this morning. I might have dipped the brush into the soap(Razorock Lime Burst)while it was still "recovering" from being doused with hot water from the tap. It is mainly for that reason that I always say my second pass feels better than the first. Well,ALMOST always, that is. 3 "mild" weepers around the mouth again, one closer to the jawline than the other two. I also missed that area on my neck that I missed a few days ago. It seems I focus too much on the "Y Formation" persuasion of the neck shave that I sometimes miss areas that shouldn't be missed-Y or no Y. But overall a nice shave. Clubman Reserve Gentle Gin for the finish. Pretty Excellent.
  12. I think it should be pronounced "Sosal Distancing", like we seem to pronounce Social Security "Sosel Security". (Not all of us).
  13. I just did a PIF on a Facebook group so that’s covered. I’ll be trying various items I scarcely use for the month of May.
  14. Whadja send out,...an Avon?
