Art Razor 'Saga', first shave after being touched up and finished on Gokyumo 20k. A very smooth edge, I go much this time, much better than my last attempt.
Nice recovery shave from yesterday 15/16 Bartmann 86 Manganese Steel I truly enjoy these large Bartmanns... this square point and the 89 round point. Lather up some Stirling Piacenza, out of an old RR XXX tub, topped off with Oleo Shiloh, and I’m running out of ADP inspiration scents . Enjoy your shave. Tom

My Bartmann 86 was my first new old stock straight many years ago. It shaved great from day one without extra honing needed.
Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Burma Shave Boar Dubl Duck 5/8 CWR Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS The Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Burma Shave Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Dubl Duck 5/8 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Touron-Parisot from the mid-1800s, Czech and Speake 88 and Harris Pink were in the supporting roles for these beautiful old razors.

Went with some very old, presumably Sheffield, steel today. Unmarked but looks well used. Love the repair work and just wouldn’t want to change a thing... not even the string holding the wedge end together. D.R.Harris is not a favorite, but the scent is very nice and JR263 can do wonders in whipping up a lather. Enjoy your shave. Tom
