Great pic and excellent, detailed shave summary, Joe! There’s no such thing as too much menthol in a shave!
Great image and shave Gary! Super nice Jason! Still need to get some of the JoHS....but the only options with both SS and AS right now is Bay Rum & Barbershop. Nice Favorites Friday Dovo shave Joe! Great looking straight, awesome report Joe!
May Focus Williams~~Mondial~~Fatip/Gillette 7 O'Clock (Black Label)~~SMN Nostalgia Once again, I stuck with the Fatip, today relying only on a towel to keep my hands dry(ish). Also, this was the final shave for the Gillette 7 O'Clock. Some dragging was I needed to feel to convince me to ditch it. As anyone who has ever finished a tub of soap---and I know there are precious few of us soaps don't go down easily. This tub off Williams is no exception. That being said, I loaded the Mondial for about 20 minutes, resulting in this quality lather. Observe: After four shaves with the Fatip, I can safely say that this razor gets the job done. No more, no less. It holds the blade securely; blade gap is irrelevant; torquing makes little difference. Is it worth purchasing? Yes...if you don't already own a DE razor. If you do...then I would say no. I did get a great shave and finished it with the incredible scent of SMN Nostalgia.
Fantastic photo and shave, Gary--love the silvers, blues, and blacks! I haven't tried the 7 O'clock blacks yet, but hear they are a fantastic blade
Beautiful photo and set up, Jason! The teeth on that JAWS reminds me of the Bond villain with the same name. BTW, one of my first fall sample purchases from Stirling is going to be Autumn Glory
Beautiful photo and awesome report, Joe--I can see why that Dovo would be your 1st straight; it's gorgeous! I got the Coconut Lime body butter for my wife a year or so back--great scent!
thank you Tim.the black blades are smooth and sharp, they are recent to myself as well..right up there with my other gillette blades..
