  1. Awesome shave and report, Joe! The Tuckmarr sounds like a fantastic shaver. An ice water shave in house with a roaring fire in the fireplace puts me in mind of a boss I had years ago that would drive in the winter with the windows rolled down and the heat cranked high--sign of a free spirit! ;) :D

  2. Great report, Paul! Sorry to hear about the cuts, though. I view the difference between weepers and cuts in a similar way :)

  3. Awesome photo and shave Jim! That Karve looks fantastic, but the brush is definitely the star of the show--amazing :D

  4. Crucial with a shavette, but it's amazing to see what it's done for my DE game as well. :D

  5. Thanks Tim....coming back with same combo tomorrow, let's hope it will be a "cleaner" shave.
  6. For my alarm clock, I want ANY of the BG's oldies medley.

    Wolfman WR-1 OC
    Feather
    Semogue Mistura
    Savonniere du Moulin
    Dominica Grand Bay Rum Aftershave

It has been a long time since I used my original Wolfman razor. I got this razor before Wolfman razors became all the rage. This razor is a SS OC with the original blade gap of 0.61mm. The SOC Mistura did a wonderful job whipping up the Savonniere du Moulin into a rich slick lather. This brush really works well and compares favorably to brushes costing much more. Three passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave, I did manage to nick myself on my jawline. A splash of Bay Rum was the perfect end to the shave. I am disappointed to say that the concrete shave bowl did not survive the shave. For some reason, the top edge broke away. I have not dropped it but it could have been damaged in shipping. The idea sounded good but I am not sure the material is really up to regular use. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.
  8. Thanks, Tim!
The blade in the Karve reached its third use so I reluctantly set it aside for a razor that I don't think has seen use since November. So many razors and not enough whiskers.
    Sorry about the bowl, Clint.
Stunning picture and beautiful razor though!
  9. Thank you Jim. At least I didn't drop it on the floor or my foot. ;) I just transferred the soap to another bowl.
