May 2020 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

Well....perhaps. Problem has been with the "fancy" razors that I just can't seem to get the best angle as I shave, and also the "art" of slipping the blades in. These things are pretty routine for others, I'm sure, but have been tough for me. I definitly won't get an electric.ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

i have hearing some ok stuff about these.they don't really pull out and cut whiskers like a multiblade cart does.

 

Thanks Gary....that looks like a nice one. I just need to be real careful, however some may be made just for guys like me-the strugglers. I still have some good blades from a long ago PIF by @wristwatchb -hope to put them to use sometime soon(Astra, 2 Feathers, Nacet, Silver Blue, to name most).

ok Paul.let me know if you would like to try one.it pains me that you cut yourself a lot.something like this could be easy/safe to load and give a fine shave..i know it is cart razor like but if these had come out a few years ago ...the gillette disposables are not very good..

Thanks, Joe! Any snow there yet? It’s certainly cold down my way! Just finished a 10 mile bike ride in the low 40s.

 

Well, that's the thing....it just takes me longer to figure out various tasks....then they can become more routine to me. As a teenager, I remember trying some of my Dad's carts, but it was easy for me-he had already put in the blades. Looking back, I probably had angle issues then, as now, though.

 

Overall awesome shave Jeff. How many passes do you do with a head shave? Love that razor.

 

We did not get any snow. At least not anything noticeable. Very windy.

Eventually I have to get my bike riding skills back in order. I used to do century rides once a month
