    SOTD Sat, May 09 2020

    Razor : Razorock Game changer .84 - Mfg 2018> good mid range on the milder side depending on blade used.
    Blade: Gillette Silver blue (4) hard to beat this blade for DE shaving IMO. One of my favorites of a few good ones!
    Soap: Razorock Lavender- I like the scent and has excellent lather qualities IMO.
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24 mm - A very easy brush to use with great results.
    Pre shave: shower, brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + A dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard.
    Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
    Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch Hazel + a small dollop of Nivea men sensitive balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + minnor irritation + 1 tiny chin weeper = [​IMG] excellent shave with my GC .84 this morning.

    For about the past year I have been doing a similar rotation. I use a basic set up for the week, maybe only changing a balm or a cooling additive, just to use the products more and keep it simple. You really get to appreciate a scent and soap using it a full week. When I rotated daily, I found I didn't get the full experience of the products before going to the next. Lately I locked on to my razor for an extend period just to get really proficient at using a straight. It is such a different experience and I really enjoy it.

    Thank you Gary. Going a 5th week straight with the straight and still enjoying it. My other razors are gathering dust! I don't think I used a single razor for this long daily since I switched from carts. I definitely fell into loving straight razor shaving. It still takes a bit longer, but since I'm still home I figured why not just enjoy the time and continue to work on getting the job done a bit more time efficient. Heck maybe by the time I start going back to the office, I'll have the time down to use during week day shaves. Enjoy those shaves my friend
