1. Agree about the D. R. Harris hard soaps. The creams are a lot better.
  2. Thanks for posting this shave, I have been trying to figure out the cologne a friend of mine had given me an empty bottle of to find for him. The label has been worn almost off and was unreadable as far as what it was, but since you posted the bottle in the pic I was able to finally figure it out!

  3. I rarely shave with s one day stubble but I knew tomorrow would be busy so the shave got moved up a day. Being Saturday I broke out the Saturday mini-Lund. Close and smooth and noisier than I expected. :happy088:

  5. Test shaved the Livi that I honed yesterday, it shaved well. Cream was IC Rhubarb as was the balm. A Keyhole 4 handled the lather production.

  10. Sunday Shave: Koraat 7/8 half hollow. This was one the razors I took the stones on Monday. The edge is not silky smooth and very sharp, glad I got this one back in rotation.

  11. Tonights was with a German made razor. I had a very smooth, 2 pass shave, after 3 days of growth, that left me with a BDBS shave. Zero issues, just a very well built razor.

Razor- C-MON "Blackie", by Carl Monkhouse.
Brush- @oscar11 made, with Synthetic Knot
    Soap- Wholly Kaw "OUD".
    Aftershave- Arctic Blue.

I had to do some plastic surgery to fix the aesthetics of the hone wear and some damage to the point. Prior to the surgery:

Not quite back to new but a little better.
    Enjoy your shave.

  17. Thanks Keith. New to me, but it was made in 2018. It is a pretty unique set up... 2 custom blades, 1 set of scales and a cocobolo stand for the other blade.
The "pin" unscrews pretty easily to make the swap. Plan to use the other tonight and do a family photo :).
