  2. Great shave report, Jason! Fine soaps are very under appreciated! That GC Jaws sounds like the perfect ticket for 72hrs growth.

  3. Love that upscale shave kit! MdC is great stuff! Lavender Pour Homme is one of my favorite AS splashes. Thank goodness the scent isn’t too strong and long-lasting.

  4. Thank you, Jeff.

I don't do the fools pass on my mustache. It's just not comfortable.

The skin in the hollows of my neck is bumpy and if I chase the baby there I'll end up with redness and irritation. The rest of my face would pass the cotton ball test just about every day. I've gotten pretty consistent and I know what I can get away with.
  5. Great Hawk shave! I love mine, but didn’t get the OC. Have you used it with a Feather Super? I used to shave my AC razors with the Proline, but now prefer the Super.

  16. You see, my Brooklynese came out because I used the wrong verb tense. Lol! I corrected it! Actually, I did it on purpose to make a little joke about it.

  17. Thanks, Joe! Once we’re out of this isolation, and the child bride can return to work, I’ll be able to use scented products that aren’t long-lasting.

  19. The Merry Mixed Up Month of May!

    May 11

Razor - 1918 Gillette Old Type
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Stirling Iced Coffee
Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Another shave with the 1918 Gillette and Sputnik. Still plenty smooth and definitely sharp enough to do the job. As I mentioned yesterday, Sputnik is a really nice teflon coated blade that tries to be a Voskhod. It definitely works for three shaves. I do have a tuck of old time Sputnik's but haven't opened them. Maybe I should do that just to try one. Might be interesting. I'll think about it.

For the lather it was Stirling Iced Coffee for MENTHOL MONDAY!! Haven't done one of those in awhile. I just used the nice Stirling synthetic brush. No need to get fancy. That Iced Coffee scent and Stirling lather is all the fancy you need!

    Have a Tremendous Tuesday tomorrow!
