Well he’s off the respirator, but there may be some cardiac complications! I really dislike this pandemic! I just spoke to him and he’s planning on going right back to work! I told him to stifle his danged sense of duty and just take the time to heal up! Like talking to a wall!

 

I am glad that he's off the respirator Jeff! However, he needs to stop being in hero mode and stay in patient mode until he is fully recovered. It doesn't do him any good to get back too quickly. Praying that wisdom and common sense rules the day.

Well to be perfectly honest between my father and grandfather and myself I had an existing collection of about 8 DEs before TSD and RAD kicked in.

Joe, you just basically restated my communication to him! Problem is he was a danged Navy Medic assigned to Marines. No reasoning with him! Trying to work through his wife, but she’s just as frustrated as me with him.

 

I certainly hope not, Charlie! Children are supposed to be an improvement over the parents!

 

I would use the baseball analogy, you may be able to swing and hit homeruns, but right now, you can't field so you're useless to the team. Make sure you say an NL team, otherwise he will pull a designated hitter or sbould I say designated hero.
