Thanks Jason. Wow, a 1/8" cut! You're a brave man, but I bet it feels good. I told Kathy I'd just do a 1/2" buzz cut, but she wouldn't hear of it. She worked on my hair for 30 minutes, and we both had fun kidding each other. She will be cutting my hair for the next few months until we're both ready to go back to our stylist. Thanks Gary! Hope you are well. Thanks Joseph. Hope you are doing well. My Bride continues to (put up with) and amaze me.
May 13th NEW SC w Gillette Thin APShaveCo Flattop/Sapele Jeeves OHS Blood on Steel combo Thayers Remembered to pull out a modern Gillette Thin after @timabababaluka expressed some issues with his. I've had a tuck or two for awhile but have never used one. I think these came from Keith in one of our trades. Loaded up a New SC, whipped up an exceptional Jeeves lather and had 3 'meh' passes. I just don't think the blade is sharp enough. Where my hair is thickest and toughest around my chin and jawline it didn't do so well. It did the job in the end, but not without resistance. Not up to the level of the Russian Gillettes imho. I am smooth enough after 3 passes with a little jawline buffing to end the 3rd pass. Finishing with the BoS splash is a good thing as well. Have a great day all!
Lovely picture, Jason! I wonder how many different Super Thins there are? I think you, Tim and I all have different packaging. Edit: Maybe ours are the same.
Excellent shave lineup and recap Blair. The photo was not that bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hear ya, Tim. I last dunked a basketball in 1988. Now I am resigned to beating my 13 year old son 1 on 1 in the driveway. It will probably be a few more years before he can take me. I'll start playing dirty at that point...
Wonderful shave and report, Blair--that Puma Special is a sleek looking predator! The two Stirling AS that I have bought left me with slight irritation as well; don't know if it came from specific essential oils from those specific splashes, or if there is something in the all the AS that won't play nice with my face. No terrible red reactions or anything, just kind of a low, slow, niggling burn.
