  1. Thank you, Gary! Same to you!
    Good morning..

  2. A fine looking shave this morning, Clint. I've used my travel brush recently as well...who knows how else it would be used for awhile.
  3. Sounds like a great dupe of the Aventus, Blair. That CK6 base is a quality product as well.
I'm thinking of picking up their Eau Sauvage dupe. Have the juice, don't see too many soap dupes of it.
  4. Wonderful photo Joseph. Sorry the shave and scent were less than stellar.
  5. Love the warm tones in the photo Jason. Wise choice of binning the blades
  6. Thank you, Joe!

You're correct, not the easiest razor to use. The angle has to be pretty spot on. I relied heavily on audible feedback.
Great shave and cool razor, Jeff!
  7. Thank you Jason. Asha and I should be traveling to Tampa, FL next month so I will get to break out the gear.
  8. Sounds like a great shave. Love that old Beaufort as well!
  9. Great report and picture, Joseph! The razor sounds like a real technique tester.
    Lovely picture, Jason!
  10. Very, very nice pic, Jim. Sounds like the razor requires some skill to get it where you need it. The regular plate looks like an assassin in comparison.
  11. Thanks, Jim!

  12. Entertaining shave report, as usual, Maestro! I struck out with the CF Soap and AS myself yesterday. I’m taking off in the TR6 shortly to give the Fine Platinum from my shave today time to attenuate. My SWMBO fortunately is in her office working with the door closed.
  13. Thanks, Jason.

What is now called the Level 1 was the only offering at first. Many complaints about it being too mild which led to the Level 2 baseplate with increased gap and shorter safety bar. The L2 has a lot of blade feel where the L1 has almost none. I think an L1.5 would be the goldilocks.
  14. clint64, Trigger and brit like this.
  15. Great observation, Myles! I’ll be looking forward to following your assessment.
  16. Thanks, Clint! It’s a decent shaver.
  17. Thanks, Gary!

  18. Thanks, Joe! All the best! See you, or at least hear you tomorrow evening.

  19. Solid shave report, as usual, Jason! Sorry the blade didn’t work out. I don’t know if you have the .84 GC, but I was curious as to whether there’s all that much difference? Have a great day!
  20. Great photo and your usual to the point shave summary, Gary! Good morning!
