  1. fine shave and pic Joe..
  2. Terrific shave, Joe!
  3. Excellent shave. Your daughter sounds like my 9 year old son. He is always telling his mother on me. "Mom, Dad said moron" You get the idea. Whatever happen to the man code.
  4. Thank you

  6. Wonderful looking shave Clint. I have yet to try La Toja. How would you describe the scent?
  7. Thank you, Jeff. I don't have any of the .84 GameChangers- OC, Jaws or SB. I believe Andrew @Linuxguile does, and I do recall him stating that he thought the shaves between the .68 and .84 were basically identical, but that the .68 had a narrower sweet spot. Joseph @Primotenore has stated that there is no difference between the .84 Jaws and regular .84 OC version as well, besides (obviously) the spacing of the comb.
  8. Thank you, Joe!

  9. Blair this looks like an absolutely fantastic shave. Have a great day as well.
  10. Sorry about needing to bring out the styptic this morning, Joe. Interesting observations you've made about a wet lather. I used to do that more than I do now. I've gone quite far the other way with my lathers, fwiw. I start out with a very pasty load, regardless of bristle type. It takes me quite a long time with some soaps to get a wet lather on my face adding a bit of water to the knot at a time, but I get quality lathers virtually every day.
  11. Thanks Tim! I usually get 8 shaves on a shavette and up to 10 on a DE. I guess it depends on beard growth because some days I shave under 40 hr of growth and other days over 40 hrs of growth. To most shavers, Rockwell blades are average at best. I use them because I do well with them. I bought a 100 blade box of Rockwell Blades so I don't like to waste things ad that's another reason why I use them. Would I purchase them again? Probably not because there are better blades out there. I have only used very limited brands of blades. I like Voskhods, and Polsilver (no longer manufactured). I will try Feathers and Gillette blades when the time comes. However, DE, SE razors are my secondary choices for shaving.
  12. Thanks Jason! Fortunately, I really don't hurt myself with my soft touch. I like to change my shave techniques so that I keep my skills fresh and keep my shaves from being humdrum.

  13. Great shave, Jeff. I love the look of that Paul Revere Schick as well. I won a Schick Trac II handle in a raffle on here that is the same shape that I use s a travel shaver when I don't want to check a bag. A very comfortable handle besides being a looker.
  14. That brush looks very cool, Joe.
You mentioned an X3Bar workout. What do you think of the product? I have read conflicting reviews of it, mainly centred on the high price for what some consider to be a steel bar and latex bands.
  15. The same person would probably also tell you to keep the TR6 in the carport.
No display rack specials for the 30DC...:happy088:
  16. Beautiful razor. The digging in prospect can't be good.
  17. Very nice shave Gary.
  18. Thank you, Gentlemen.
  19. Fabulous shave Jeff. I have not experienced PannaCrema as of yet. Perhaps soon.
