The Merry Mixed Up Month of May! May 14 Razor - 1946-'47 Gillette Aristocrat Blade - Soap - Tabac Brush - I*V16 Hybrid w/Mesquite handle Post - Alum Well, three days off and the first day back I feel like I've been beaten with a baseball bat. Guess living the easy life made me soft. If only 3 days did that I can't imagine taking a whole week! Got home and ate and relaxed with a very fine shave. The Aristocrat and Voskhod - detente setup - is almost too smooth and comfortable. Makes you never want to change your setup. Put the hybrid brush with it along with the quality and history of Tabac and it just can't be beat. Three passes to a more relaxed me along with the baby in the house. Can't beat that for a result. Friday looms ahead! The weekend is nearly here!! Time to celebrate!!! Have a great one.
Seems so. I will have to eventually read some information about the history so that I have more back round. I've heard that Fougere Royale was the 'first' Fougere, but I haven't done a deep study on that history.

For a small brush it works up a decent lather. Somewhat scritchy as you might expect, but not unpleasantly so. Perfect travel brush.
This remains my top favorite product. The performance is just outstanding and the scent…..from another level!! The shaving-stuff from The Art of Shaving is really affordable, however the moment you turn to the matching colognes/fragrances, prices go up like crazy. I really think this is unfortunate because I’ve ordered another really wonderful scent the Bergamot & Neroli together with the balm. But I will not pay $100 anymore for a tiny bit of fragrance ☹ Besides that, I truly think that The Art of Shaving and its products are seen too little in the Shaving-Scene which I regret….it truly is great stuff! 2020-05-15, Friday Italy is divided in two: down seems to be August, up October. In medium stat virtus: I didn't know they'd moved the Parliament... I had no olfactory inspiration, so I picked up a soap I hadn't used for a long time. Great performance, but what a smell... And, of course, like every fragrance I don't like, it lasts! The ones I like, on the other hand, vanish: that's fate. Personna, I don't like it: tomorrow it will be changed!
