Great shave report! I envy you, and really miss that Brass TAR. It was the bee’s knees for me! Great shaver!
Nice. I'm number 12 on the list shaving with them and you finally get to enjoy the fruits of your own labor.
No. I have not tried that yet. Funny you mention magnets. I designed a razor that takes Injector blades 4 years ago. I was not happy with how it assembled. But with @PLANofMAN magnet idea. I think I will revisit it.
No I tried to make a compact head as possible. Here is the cad of the basic design I think I can use magnets to hold the head on better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Friday with my TAR First shave with the TAR. I chose GSB blade. The WDC brush, as it is a heavy weight Brass. For soap I went with Palmolive Stick. Setting TAR on 4 I went about business. First pass went spectacularly. Nice and close. I could feel the blade but nothing dangerous. My second pass went as well. In all honesty I could have done a few touch ups on my neck and called it the day. Not to be so. Staying on setting 4 went for a full pass. I must say that this is one of my best shaves. No touch ups needed. Even in the crease of my neck. I finished off with my home made AS. I am looking and feeling GREAT with no place to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Just my two cents, but a number of guys in my local shave Meetup said they would buy an OC Adjustable if one were available. I have a question; did you shrink the circumference of the handle?
No I did not. The only thing different on this is the numbers are now on a ring that can be adjusted exactly at the mark.
Great first shave with the TAR...... ....... I'll be sure to pass your approval on to the design and manufacturing staff.
That brush looks really good with your razor. I imagine the razor is actually heavier. I'll be doing my second shave tomorrow.
Here it is. The brush wins by a large margin. 1 lb of shaving goodness Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
