  2. Great vintage shave, Clint. You must be one of the Club Officers for the 30DC Crew Chub Club! :D Hope you had a good day!
  3. Thank you Gary. It has been a relaxing day, I hope your day has been as well.

    Thank you Jim

Thanks Tim. I really like this SS.

Thank you Jeff. I do have a few Chubby brushes.

  4. Great shave and photo Tim. You're correct, tea tree scent takes over everything.
  5. Thanks, Tim!

  6. Excellent shave, Tim!
I bought a bottle of tea tree witch hazel. I used it once. Not very pleasant.
  7. Excellent shave Jeff! Despite my phone connection problems, talking to everyone was great, especially since I was the only one without an accent!;)
  8. Terrific shave Joe! Genco made excellent American straight razors.
  9. Wonderful shave Clint! Enjoy the day!
  10. Very nice shave Tim! Keep it up with the 3 passes! Eventually you will get the BBS more frequently. When you do, then you probably could get a near BBS with 2 passes and minor touchups. That's where I am most comfortable when shavette shaving.
  11. Everyone loves a good cheer captain. I tend to give Spoke a run for the emotionless "wow" response, which isn't appropriate as much.
  12. Nice shave Jeff! Neat razor as well! When SWMBO is away, the Nasal Barbarian plays with grooming products. You're quite the unruly one, Jeff! What do you do when she goes away for the weekend, clean behind the fridge. ;)

Glad you got to use some smelly AS this AM.
  13. Wow! Tea Tree Witch Hazel? I think that's an alternative spelling for "Torture in a Bottle". ;)

  14. I didn't know any better. I had never smelled tea tree oil that didn't have its scent masked by other fragrances. Not nice.
  15. Thank you Joe.
  16. Evan:
These days I’m left only with hours, not days. When things return to normal, and she begins traveling on business, I will again indulge in a variety of stinks, remembering the ones that smell good. So yes, quite true, I do indulge. Congratulations on building your first straight razor! Ikm really enjoying your brush. It’s become one of my favorites.

  17. Yes, it was. Although, there was definitely, some slight Brooklynese peeking out periodically in the middle Atlantic speech.

  18. Thank you, Clint. It's amazing to me how something so overpowering can just up and leave 5 or 10 minutes after the shave :D

  19. Thank you, Jim! Tea tree is very medicinal smelling. I felt so bad about the smell that I gave my younger son the Dreamsicle as well--funny thing is that he actually likes the tea tree soap now a little more than Dreamsicle. Kids these days :D

  20. Great pic, kit and summary, Gary! Love those Yellow 7 O’Clocks, nicely sharp and smooth.
