  6. ”May 21--In the Mix-it-Up-of-Mystery May”
    Shavette Shave #73

    Gear
    • Razor: Max Headroom Focus R21 Shavette
    • Blade: Astra SS--I found these to perform about as well as the SP’s. Perhaps If I shaved with each one for a week or two straight, I might pick up on the nuances, but I really like them both.
    • Brush: Stirling Finest Badger
    • Soap: Stirling Glastonbury & Stirling Texas on Fire (chilled with ice water, 6 Frost Drops added)
    • Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops
    • AS: Clubman Original & Pinaud Citrus Musk--an enjoyable pairing
    • Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

    The Shave
3 pass shave: WTG, XTG, and ATG. I told myself I would do no chasing, and no touch ups today--which usually means I only do a little of both.

I stuck with the plan, and as a result I’m near BBS on most of the face, DFS on the neck and most of the goat zone, and CCS on the south pole of the chin. No irritation at all. I prefer this to the very smooth but slightly irritated shave from yesterday.

One half a day left till Friday--make it a great half of a day! :D

    73 down, 27 to go!

  12. I still love my boars. I tend to soak them while I the shower. For me, they tend to whip up the most luxurious lather. Synthetics did a nice job, especially when you do not have time in the morning.
  13. Thank you Jason. The Enoch is put away. Moving to the Cobra Classic for a few days.
