Razor: Gem junior 1912 parade with the baton handle-Mfg 1943, I find this 1912 model with this handle one of my favorites to shave with.The handle acts like a stand all in one. Also the corners of the base plate are rounded a little more than other older models IMO.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (6) just a great blade to use-very sharp, great longevity and smooths out after a few shaves.
Soap: Razorock XXX- great freshness scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24 mm- great brush to lather with, soft tips, good splay with a nice scrub.
Pre-shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + clean up.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a small dollop of Nivea sensitive balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Gem jr. with the baton handle.

It just doesn’t get any colder or better than this - the Glacial MITA soap has the identical beautiful citrusy/tropical scent as the regular version, the lather is just as rich, super slick, and easy to work up, but the menthol sensation is three times more potent. The skincare of every Stirling soap, including this one is absolutely brilliant - no dryness, irritation, or razor burn. The Glacial Unscented balm always gives me great additional moisturizing and soothing, while the Alcolado Glacial froze the crap out of me and felt so wonderful. I was enjoying this shave so much that I opted for a third pass and I ended up mega BBS!

Fresh rosewood scales improved this razor’s appearance and feel in hand for me. I’m very pleased with the decision and (tiny) investment. The steel took an incredible (Nakayama) edge and provided an absolutely superb shave. My lather tailed off through the final pass. Retrospectively I should have bowl-lathered rather than the atypical face-lather I decided on today. Overall an excellent and relaxing shave.

But I had my first coffee at the bar after two months: thank goodness it was delicious. Not so much the croissant: you can't have everything!

But I got everything from shaving.The knot of the Zenith lathered in a fantastic way an efficient soap with a very pleasant fragrance.
Razor and razor blade? Well, the usual.

I'd love a cologne with a scent as sophisticated as fragrance, but I have no idea what it could be.

EFB worked out much better today paired with the Platinum blade. I don't think the Polsiver works well for me.
