Wilkinson Sticky Feather 1/2 Barbasol, 1/2 vintage Rapid Shave 2 pass DFS+. Looks like the secret to getting the most out of a Sticky is the sharpest possible blade. Brush: Jefferson the Fae B9B Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Jr. Blade: Gillette Platinum (4) Lather: B&M Adagio Post Shave: Summer Break Soaps Field Day Frag: Armaf CDNIM Sunny, warm day here so I'm going with some citrus grass mixup. I enjoy the sweet grass smell from Field day and figured out I would mix it up with the lime-forward scent of Adagio. CDNIM is pretty much an Aventus dupe, which I'm not always keen on but I'm feeling the fresh, light scent these days.
Love this Scent I finally replaced my last Lavanille set from the first run in the white tubs with the new formulae. Superb shave! I like to squeeze the last of the lather to the top of the brush and paint it on for my last pass. SOTD, Fri May 22nd 2020 Razor: Valet Auto-strop C1 model Canadian variant-Mfg 1920's(I decreased the gap from .011 to .007 thousands of a inch to smooth the razor out. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE modified (6) Soap: Razorock Don Marco-Nice Citrus scent with good lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi tuxedo knot 24 mm with black marble handle- very nice brush to handle and generates great lather. Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of Aloe Vera Gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + clean up. Post shave: Italian barber Amici aftershave with witch Hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea Sensitive balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = great shave with my C1 Valet auto strop. Have some great shaves!
