Nice early morning shave this morning. Everything worked as it should and I am quite smooth. One minor gripe- just as this knot is finally breaking in, it decided to drop a few hairs. As @Primotenore would say....:angry019::angry019::angry019:
The Lord is a functional blade, no question, but I won't be rushing out to buy them. Time to move onto another neglected blade for next time. Finishing with any of the Maol splashes means a great 'face feel' thoughout the day, and I'm really starting to reach for citrus scents more these days.

What a week it has been. Not much I can share on here, but I'll just say that I haven't been this happy to see Friday come in quite some time. Hoping for no more dumpster fires today, but I'm not holding my breath.
    Have a great day all!

Good morning guys! It's Favorite Friday Shave!

    Straight Razor Shave # 169
Böker King Cutter 5/8 Rd Pt
    JR Synthetic Brush #290
Music City Suds Lavender SS and AS
    Nivea ASB

I brought out one of my favorite soaps and synthetic brushes today. The Böker is rated at the lower end of my straights, but it certainly is no slouch!
I bloomed the MCS lavender soap so that I can use the water as a preshave. JR 290 always does a great job of whipping up a terrific lather. It's a shame this soap is discontinued because this scent is wonderful. Every now and then when I don't use it, I smell this soap for aromatherapeutic purposes. The lather was wet and slick with just enough cushion. On a 36 hr stubble, two and a half passes gave me an IBSS++ without any blood or irritation. Splashed on a liberal dose of this awesome aftershave that was followed by the Nivea ASB. It was an enjoyable shave!, Have a marvelous day guys! 20200521_213621.jpg 20200521_213621.jpg
