Top Flight shave, my Brother. Hey, we're on BST (Bama Standard Time) here in Minnesota too. We're separated by six state lines, but everyone (at least the cool dudes) are rocking their Hammies today.

I am back after a four day guys vacation. We normally go to Phuket and Macau twice a year together but with all the travel restrictions in place going overseas is not possible so we decided on a road trip. My shaving kit for the trip was my Karve F open comb, the most aggressive plate of course, Feather blades and DR Harris shaving stick. DR Harris hard soaps do not work well for me at home but on the road they performed fantastic. Good shaves with the Karve and feather blades.

Thursday and Friday were golf days and we stayed near the golf course. We were in Pyong Chang where the ski events were held for the winter Olympics. If there is snow then there is skiing and if there is no snow there is golf.

After Friday's round it was off the beach where we rented a pension. When Korean's go to the beach is a national imperative to eat seafood so we had the deluxe feast featuring sushi.

We were staying in city called Yang Yang, the province it is in famous for seafood, mushrooms and tofu. Saturday lunch was extra spicy tofu stew. I ordered the fusion version with cheese.

For Sunday's back home shave I used my big 8/8 Silverloaf kami to mow down 36 hours of growth.

Monday back to work shave: The Rocnel-G is my favorite GEM blade holder and it has been a long time since I used it so I decided to give it some love. It delivered an excellent shave and I am on my way to work.
