Until now. I did a full Mikawa Nagura progression and finished with a tomo on a Nakayama last night. Stropped it thoroughly and patiently this morning. And finally, I was rewarded with an excellent shave. The shave I’ve been expecting.

2020-05-26, Tuesday Today I tried to use a Personna: they were the ones my father used, but I don’t remember which they were. I took back a Tomy and this prolonged my stay in the bathroom: I remained to read everything they printed on each blade: exactly twice as much as they write on the Kai. Luckily not in Japanese! I hadn’t used them in ages and I had different perceptions. It’s a singing blade, mild, I’d say, but not inadvertent that left me with a few red dots. But I felt neither the aftershave nor the EdT.
