  1. I still hum that occasionally while shaving :D
  2. I think I'm beaten, but it's close--depends on whether or not I feel the need to use the AS.

  4. Very sweet prize! I don't believe Delta Echo is doing their thing any more, which makes the razor all the more unique :D

  6. Alas, poor First Snow. I knew him, Horatio! A soap of infinite shaves...

The scales and blade design on that Art Razor Saga are awesome. Fantastic report, Keith! :D

  9. Very interesting shave Edison. I am not familiar with the stink of that soap. I have the Electric Sheep which reminds me a bit of the William Mug Soap scent.

  12. Jason- This brush was my first boar. It performs extremely well. I am totally satisfied with the knot provided. Reasonably priced as well.

Wow.....long working weekend. Sleeping/driving/working and that's about it....managed a 4am shave Sunday though, used the Rex Ambassador loaded with a Bolzano blade, Proraso SC in a can (not bad stuff at all) followed by Proraso Red AS. Skipped Sat & Mon.

    Tobacco Tuesday:

A&E Vanille de Tabac SS & AS
    @jtspartan 30DC w/Omega Boar
    ABCo 7/8 Straight

Early morning shave today went fabulously. Jason's 2019 30dc handle loaded with an Omega Boar made an incredible bowl overflowing lather. Fun face application, lather flying everywhere, enjoying a bit of 'slow down' time. 2 easy super skin stretching passes, small lower right neck touch up. BBS results, no weepers or issues to report. The ABCo....a nicely maneuverable, quiet smooth shaver after a CrOx & leather stropping. It also has a great balance, big beefy blade, long tang (with awesome added artwork). The scales are a tortoise look, slightly transparent.

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!
  15. Awesome photos and report, Joseph! :D

Quite a luxurious lather you've got going on there--I can see why these vintage AoS soaps are so highly sought after. Congrats on the epic shave!

  16. Love the effect the mirror adds to an already awesome set up and photo! The Heritage Collection brushes that C-MON produces are gorgeous :D

  17. Awesome set up, shave, and report, Joe--the Long Rifle definitely sounds worthy of a repeat. Where the menthol really comes to play in a chilled lather shave is on the application of the 2nd and 3rd passes. Super refreshing :D

  18. That is a stunning selection of gear and software--even the razor holder is awesome! Fantastic photo and report, Jason :D

A viable option in Portland or Seattle, but the CA central valley... not so much. I usually just send one of my three oldest out (most often determined by who has been spending the most time on the couch with a tablet) :D
  20. It's nice to know I'm not the only person who's tried that. Fortunately, my dad is a bit of a loud-talker when it comes to phone conversations, and I was able to keep the receiver an inch or two away from my face but still hear ;)
