    What an exhaustive analysis!

    Taking into consideration personal perception it seems m,e it's not what I am looking for:

    1. It does exude a somewhat Earl Grey like scent but, lighter
    I would like a strong tea scent.

    2. with a very light touch of sweetness, almost honey like
    Not sure my sensation would be the same...

    3. Not cloying or obnoxious at all.
    Here we go again into personal tastes

    Too bad fragrances are not something objective! :)
    I heard that also B&M Cheshire has an Earl Gray scent...
    I'd like to really smell tea!

    Bowl: Castle Shave 4 1/4"
    Pre-Shave Scrub: MRGO Lime
    Pre-Shave Balm: GroomingDept Patchouli & Mint
    Shave Soap: Stirling Responders 4 Life
    Butter: Saponificio Varesino Puro Burro di Karitè
    Aftershave: Stirling Responders 4 Life

    Razor : Star bar#4 lather catcher (Kampfee brothers NY) -Mfg 1919, excellent lather catcher and uses Gem blades.
    Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (8) great blade IMO for a SE.
    Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Foire- great scent with great lather qualities.
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24 mm- One of better synthetics back 3 1/2 years ago.
    Pre-Shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pick ups.
    Post: AVON true gent with witch Hazel + AVON true gent balm. - very nice balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + 1 tiny chin weeper= [​IMG] excellent shave with my Star bar lather catcher.

    CREAM: Nancy Boy Signature
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and Nancy Boy Signature Scent Cooling Balm.

    If you can find it, "Black Tea" by Jeeves of Hudson Street is one of the best tea fragrances I've experienced. It is glorious in it's simplicity. I think this is what you're looking for.
