The Merry Mixed Up Month of May! May 26 Razor - Gillette New LC (Delta Echo) Blade - Soap - Fine Italian Citrus Brush - The Canuck Post - Alum Shave number three with the New LC and Rapira Swede. I chose to go with the Fine Italian Citrus soap in the bowl from the hands of @jtspartan along with the brush I won on a bet that was also made by @jtspartan and the knot provided by @Screwtape . It's a SynBad flat top from apshave.com. I have noticed that nobody else has bet me they'd make it through a "no-buy" year since those two lost that bet. Anyone? Anyone? Three passes with the nice lather that the brush whipped up and the baby is in the house. I haven't used this soap too much yet but I can say it's definitely a nice performer. The lather is plentiful and slick and seems very protective. Of course, using a New LC, you don't need a lot of protection but still.....very nice performance from this soap. Back to the salt mines tomorrow. Time for my four day run to glory to finish out the week. Well, four day run to the recliner at the end at least. Have a Titanically Terrific Thursday!!
Beautiful shaves over the last week, carried on with using the grooming dept credance, fast becoming one of my favourite soaps. I know it was cancelled because many people didnt like the scent of the puck before lathering, but the performance is absolutely out of this world, definitely going to have to try some of their other soaps, maybe a few PAA soaps or Stirling if only i could get my hands on any of those lol. I tend to be a big fan of the tallow based soaps, so i also love the uncle jons pipe smoke puck i have, maybe i should add that to the winter rotation too. Neil, I would not take that bet. There are too many enablers in this group, myself included, that I would not last a month. Anyway, great looking shave. I do not have any Fine soaps or splashes. I am resisting the temptation to get the Santal Absolute. Trying to minimize the growth of software in the den.

Fantastic shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum. Have a great day!
Good shave today-using the can approach. After a few shakes, it come out pretty nice. I just use one pass, although you might say I added a few touchups after the pass. Solid facial and neck work. I will admit to missing the right "middle-neck", although it certainly feels better than before. Good job with the Y formation. Clubman Gent's Gin to finish it. Most Excellent.

So I went with a classic type shave. No overpowering scent, just clean and refreshing. The AJ Jordan continues to deliver wonderfully close shaves every time I put it in the rotation. Today was no exception. I even manage to get a closer shave at my usual challenging location, the jaw-hinge line just below the ear lobes. it is going to be a great day.
