    The ShaveMobiles were required only because my real estate allocation in 3 bathrooms was only 1 drawer. Being mobile permits the actual use of the areas that are not being used.

    Somewhat similar to the @jgreenepa tradition, a word of fatherly advice could have been, "do you want 2 vanity drawers OR be married".

    Please don't tell anyone I travelled and out of a dopp kit for 20 years.

    I think the razor looks awesome--it's got character, and I'm not using that as a euphemism either. It's something that I look forward to seeing coming out of the den on a regular basis, so don't disappoint me ;)

    25 shaves out of a single blade is awesome! So glad to see that someone has had success stropping an SE blade (because I sure as heck didn't :happy102:). Beautiful photo and fantastic set up, Evan! :D

    Beautiful photo and gear, Joseph! Most shavettes are usually pretty utilitarian in design, but that Feather is just plain gorgeous. Peppercorns and Lime sounds amazing--I can see why the Dr. Mrs. Primo would approve :D

    Awesome, Joe--that makes a Drew Dick Damascus steel trifecta today. Beautiful razors! My son has the Tea Tree shave soap; that's one powerful aroma. Definitely takes some getting used to, but my son loves it now :D

    The Shave
    Grabbed the ice and enjoyed a relaxing Saturday morning shave after taming the yard. 3 passes--WTG, XTG, ATG--no touch ups. Did some experimenting to try to get a true ATG pass along the hollows of my throat which requires an outside-to-inside stroke on either side. Getting better, and the results are smoother, but that’s still a tough order.

    Results today range anywhere from BBS (cheeks) to CCS (bottom of the chin--barely), and DFS most everywhere else. Can’t tell if it’s the Varen bath soap, or the Glastonbury bassnotes, but several hours later I’m still smelling it--fine by me!

    Hope everybody is enjoying their Saturday :D
