  1. Good morning Gary. It was a very nice shave. I love this Drew Dick razor.

  5. Sorry to hear that SWMBO doesn't like the MF, Patrick. I think that older RR tallow formula is their best, fwiw. Glad you like the Mountain Rain- it's a quality product that the scent wasn't a fave of mine, so win-win.
I have a dense badger that I set very similarly in a handle, Keith. It is so knot-dependent and personal-preference dependent on how deep they should be set.
Lovely photo, Jim. That Flare Tip is glowing! Such a humble, quality shaver.
Very nice 'budget' shave and report, Jeff. I like quality synthetic knots, but haven't considered the Kent one. Might go check it out.
Love the Palmolive Shave Stick as well! Looks like all those rumours of its production end might actually be true for once...
Yikes, sorry to hear about your stomach problems returning, Clint. Get that taken care of!
I would imagine the notes in that soap would be a fantastic pairing for a Terre d'Hermes dupe.
Great to see you posting some pics again, Jim! Wow, that truly is a vintage puck...what years is that box from?
    Safe travels, as always...
An absolutely stunning shot, Blair. You are a pro, no doubt. Wifey approved is always a good thing as well...
Love that pic, Gary. Interesting info on the razor as well.
Great shave, and it sounds like work sounds 'normal' a bit. My wife is back in school today as well, Tim.
Great to see you posting here, Andrew. Love your posts in the SOTD thread. It can be daunting keeping up on here at times, but any participation is valuable. I am a confirmed 'multiquoter' to manage at times. We do say thanks a lot, that's just the way we are, but you don't have to read through all of those either...
Nice Gemini shave, Joe. Like I said a couple of days ago, around here this counts as restraint...:)
  6. Thank you, Gentlemen. It was a nice start to the day.

  7. Yup..... We are definitely gonna have to get you in one of those high rise apartments with the garage elevators.

  12. Thanks, Jason, the Kent is not the best synth knot I own by a long shot. I received it as a Secret Santa gift, so couldn’t speak to pricing or a source. I know nothing about Kent.
  13. Great kit, Joe! Really like Thayers WH. It’s my regular goto for mostly every shave. For the summer I like Humphreys Lilac WH. Great stuff. I’ll look forward to Gemini Shave Kit #2 tomorrow! Stay healthy and safe, my friend!

  15. Good solid kit, Andrew! Welcome to the crew! I'm sure you’ll get into the swing of things quickly. L Type injectors are good solid shavers! I had two, but traded my mint one for a SS Supply V2. Did you enjoy your shave?

Thank you Patrick. I had 33 inches of colon removed followed by 5 incisional hernia repairs.[/QUOTE]
Wow, Clint! That's some major surgery! My oldest son’s father-in-law has had Crones since he was a teenager. He had a major abdominal surgery as well about a year ago.
