    Jun 3 SOTD:

    Razor: Prime Med Prep
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: Speick Shave Stick
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Evening post for an early shave. This is my travel set up, which really does a nice job. It isn't the smoothest razor, but the shaves are always close and fairly comfortable. A little Aqua Velva puts a nice finish on it. I hope everyone has had a great day!

  14. You should only apologize if you do not use it. As you get used to it you will find that it is easier to use and fine tune the angle of the blade than smaller razors. Glad to see you are enjoying the razor.

Glad to see the both of you looking happy and healthy. That was a wise and strategic move to shop in a Piggly Wiggly free zone to get a good deal on the summer home. I hope it has sufficient security for your watch collection.
  15. awesome shave and pic Jim.good evening..

  20. Today's TSD brush is a Tom White B-400. I have two ferules both with silver tip badger knots, I just them a different heights. Still working on the Fine Soap and loading it like it owes me money and is 30 days past due. Today's razor is a Takahana Feon 172, my first Jwest razor and start my love of the western grind Japanese blades. I bought it used a couple of years ago and the previous owner finished it on a Gokuymo 20k stone, the edge was amazing and then I realized that you can get a smooth and sharp edge with a synthetic and did not need to go through all the natural stone gymnastics. Today's shave was excellent.
