  1. Love the simple, b&w pic, Clint. Was just thinking that SV usually releases a soap a year (Cubebe was the last in 2019, obviously) and so I went and looked on their site. Yup. Desert Vetiver, 2020 LE.
  2. Great shave, Jim. I like how you are enjoying the vintage Williams.
  3. thank you Joe..:)..glad i got one..i don't buy a lot of top end gear,happy i splurged a bit..:)..
  4. hello Paul, day is going well so far..:)
  5. Thank you Jason! The scales change in how it "glows" when you move it in the light. Unfortunately, you done get that effect in a pic.
  6. Thank you Gary and you have a good afternoon!
  7. We both bought top end gear and they came in almost the same time. I don't often splurge also, but I only turn 65 once. Lol!
  8. yes sir.i bought the MDC soap as well as more brit open combs from england.still waiting on those..something to show for my house arrest..;)
  9. Great shave, Jason! Love the greens.
  10. Thank you, Gary! You too
  11. MDC is definitely a top tier soap and OC's from GB is up there also. I just calculated my value of straight razors and they total over 1800 American dollars. Add my other safety razors and my 2 shavettes the total is approx $2300. Brushes $310 Soaps $180
Razor Stand $30 SE and DE Blades $24 Cremo and VDH Shea Butter $16 Shave Mug $20

    Total $2880

Hmm! I though that I was to save money when I decided to leave carts. Lol! I have a modest den compared to some of you guys so I can only imagine your total value.
  12. Just an awesome pic, Jim. Love the red accent on the software label. Is that a new combo? If I've seen you post it before I can't recall it.
  13. Thanks, Clint!
  14. Very cool pic, Jim. Our pets are rescue pets as well. They've won the lottery and they know it.
Hope your afternoon call goes well. Nothing is worse that a make work project at 5pm on a Friday.
  15. Great job on the knot transfer, Blair. I think I may do the same with an Evo when I get my hands on one. The scent of that Spice Bomb sounds very interesting. As I recall, Stirling did a dupe of it a year or two ago for a Black Friday release. Can't recall what it was called, though.
  16. A wonderful combo, Mark. Love the Cool and love that brush handle. I have a MITA bar soap sample from Stirling around here somewhere I should dig out soon...
  17. Happy Fat Friday! Love that brush, Andrew. Cocobolo is such a nice hardwood. It's getting harder and harder to get ahold of as well.
  18. I hope it will be fun, Gary. Power tools and adult beverages...what could possibly go wrong?
b1hart, Norcalnewb, jgreenepa and 5 others like this.
  19. You don't buy top end gear? :happy097: I have to call BS on that one, Gary. We've all seen your mint collection of rare British 'Crats...
  20. Thanks, Jason!
I've had this Phoenix & Beau set for awhile and posted it a few times. Wonderful scent.
