The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gravjura 5/8 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today, testing a big Nakayama koppa with a Hayashi razor, soap was SMN lathered with a Simpson Keyhole 3 and a little SMN body balm finished up.

Yesterday, testing a new tomo nagura with Gold Monkey 8, soap was Savonnerie des Volcans Lavande Orange lathered with. Simpson 59, and a little L’Occitane Cedrat AS finished things up.

Still playing around with ‘big ugly’, the Nakayama koppa. Touched up the Kikuboshi last night just to see how the stone works on harder steel, and the shave was just superb. I was up early and mowed my yard and did some trimming before it became swelteringly hot, so The MdC agrumes and Myrsol Limon was just a wonderful combo to compliment a wonderful edge. 10/10.
