    Thanks, Gary.

Yes, I agree with you, the scent is divine. The two jars of their Bay Rum in my den, have Jamaican Spiced Rum and smells wonderful as well.

The Tea Tree Body Bar face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Maggard Slant Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Outstanding take down of two days stubble today. The post shave smooth feeling is top shelf, and I enjoy the menthol in the splash.

    Menthol Monday:

    Stirling Mentholated PreShave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 3
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    B&M Arctique AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

Yikes, my face is so frozen from this menthol bombardment that it’ll take all day for it to thaw out. The mentholated preshave soap from Stirling is pretty much unscented, it gives great moisturizing, it softens up even a super tough beard like mine, and it has a nice cooling sensation. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap has that gorgeous Green Irish Tweed scent which I love so much, it lathers so rich and slick, not to mention how frigid it is, and the postshave feeling is brilliant. The Glacial Unscented balm moisturized my skin and gave me plenty of extra freeze, while the Arctique aftershave brought the word cold to another level - it’s scent is lovely but it doesn’t disrupt any fragrance I wear. Three passes left me smooth as silk!

Have a great week - be safe and healthy!

Wonderful day. I couldn't listen to the rain because at that time it wasn't raining, but there was a late autumn weather, suitable for the scent of one of my favorite soaps.

The Kai confirmed to have a problem: the two sides are not identical, but it was a really excellent and satisfying shave!

Speeches of days ago made me consider the cello again, but some musicians don't always relax me.

Shave #3 with the DE-Vette is done and it was another fine shave!

As I get used to this razor, my shave time has decreased. I’m still not as fast as with a regular DE, but that’s fine as I’m very much enjoying this razor. The few extra minutes have beensheer joy!

I found the sweet spot to be using it at a 30 degree angle. That angle seems to provide thebest shave, with a combination of best efficiency closest shave.

I tried the grooveless handle this morning and found the grip to be sufficient for me. However, the grooved handle certainly provides thereassurance that you’re not going to drop this baby.

Tom, I think you have a winner!
